Fordham University presented its latest Fordham Francis Global Poverty Report at the Church Center for the United Nations in Manhattan.
The event brought together researchers from Fordham and Catholic Relief Services to examine global poverty trends and the growing challenges facing vulnerable communities around the world.
“May we continue to work together for the common good and for a society in which all citizens are able to participate fully and faithfully in our democracy," the bishop said.
