In today’s reading we see the importance of having strong faith. Faith is the realization of what is hoped for and evidence of what is unseen.
However, God knows we need help with our faith, so He sends us help through the Holy Spirit, the Scriptures and the Saints.
In this in-between stretch of Ordinary Time, between the high feast of Christmas and the solemn preparation of Lent, we find ourselves in a new place as we settle into the New Year.
