With the spirit of the Olympic Games still in the air, Midland Beach on Staten Island on Saturday was the site of the Goretti Group’s annual 5K Race for the Chaste.
The funds raised go to support the New York Chapter of the Goretti Group whose mission is to promote chaste love and help others embrace purity. This year’s theme was to “Spread the Joy of Authentic Love.”
These grants are made possible through the generosity of the Catholic faithful to the Catholic Home Missions Appeal, an annual collection taken in many U.S. dioceses.
