La Madre Peregrina llega a la Catedral de San Patricio: un encuentro de fe que une a generaciones

La escultura de la Madre Peregrina, acompañada por la réplica fiel de la tilma original de la Virgen de Guadalupe, llegó a la Catedral de San Patricio el 1 de diciembre tras su paso por Chicago, como parte de su recorrido internacional que comenzó en 2006.
Su presencia busca renovar el mensaje de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe y acercar a las nuevas generaciones al profundo significado de la devoción guadalupana. La llegada de la imagen de la Madre Peregrina se celebró con una Misa oficiada por Monseñor Francisco Javier Acero, obispo auxiliar de la Arquidiócesis de México, y entre los asistentes estuvieron el cónsul general de México en Nueva York, Marcos Bucio, y la recién coronada Miss Universo 2025, la mexicana Fátima Bosch.
Sr. Kathleen Gorman, OP, spent over four decades in ministry as a teacher, principal, family therapist, and counselor across New York and New Jersey, dedicating herself especially to unwed mothers and those struggling with addiction and mental health challenges before serving as her congregation's archivist.
