Among the thousands who made the pilgrimage to Vatican City for Pope Francis’ funeral was a man who coordinated the Holy Father’s visit to New York.

Al Kelly, the former chair of the 2015 Papal Visit Committee, and his wife Peggy shared personal memories of the pontiff, reflecting on a moment that deeply touched their lives and the city.

Monsignor Luke Sweeney, S.T.L., is the dean of seminarians and professor of Catholic social teaching at St. Joseph's Seminary. We spoke with him about the next generation of priests, the upcoming comprehensive exams at the seminary, and how we can respect God's creation.
