The Master Plan for Aging (MPA) is an initiative of the New York State Department of Health and the New York State Office for the Aging.

They are holding a series of public engagement sessions across the state to provide information to local communities and receive input on New York State’s Master Plan for Aging. The event will provide information about the MPA and offer an opportunity for the public to share their thoughts and ideas.

In addition to the New York State’s public engagement sessions on the MPA, New York City’s Department for the Aging (NYC Aging) has launched a citywide survey to assess the needs of older New Yorkers. Topics covered by the survey include managing finances, transportation, meal preparation, and social isolation. To access the Service Needs Assessment survey New Yorkers can visit: on.nyc.gov/agingsurvey.
