Misa de San José Obrero de Caridades Católicas honró a jornaleros de Nueva York

Caridades Católicas de Nueva York celebró el domingo 3 de mayo la Misa de San José Obrero en español para reconocer la labor y la dignidad de los jornaleros. La Misa, oficiada por monseñor Joseph Espaillat, obispo auxiliar de la Arquidiócesis de Nueva York, reunió a decenas de trabajadores y sus familias en un acto de fe, esperanza y apoyo, en el que también se recordó a quienes han fallecido o han sido deportados.
Today’s readings call us to true holiness, to be grounded in God’s life in us. Repeating the prayer for the gift of the Holy Spirit in these days between the Ascension and Pentecost helps us focus on, pray for, and seek to live that “grounded-ness” in God.
