All of last week we spent reflecting on the imagery of Jesus as the Bread of Life in the Gospel. Yesterday, we heard Jesus describe Himself as the Good Shepherd. That imagery continues today. Jesus is very protective of His flock, but also embraces those outside of it. Jesus rejects no one.
