You can watch Msgr. LaMorte’s homily from this morning’s Mass at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral here.

In the Acts of the Apostles we’ve been reading this Easter season, we hear more about how the early Church came about. Today we hear about Saint Paul and his companions. His story often involves divine intervention as we see today.

It’s a reminder that our struggles or “prisons” in life are unlocked for us when we become one with Jesus.

At one of New York's oldest churches, the archbishop wove together the Holy Father's words, a childhood story of St. John Paul II, and the meaning of Mother's Day.
