In the Acts of the Apostles we’ve been reading this Easter season, we hear more about how the early Church came about. Today we hear about Saint Paul and his companions. His story often involves divine intervention as we see today.
It’s a reminder that our struggles or “prisons” in life are unlocked for us when we become one with Jesus.
The group is named for two patrons with causes for canonization underway: Staten Island's Dorothy Day, co-founder of the Catholic Worker Movement, and Sister Thea Bowman.
