Monsignor Quinn was the pastor emeritus of St. Stanislaus Kostka in Pleasant Valley, and was actively involved in anti-poverty initiatives

Reverend Monsignor Charles P. Quinn, a priest of the Archdiocese of New York for nearly seven decades and pastor emeritus of the Church of St. Stanislaus Kostka in Pleasant Valley, entered eternal life on April 14, 2026. He was 92.

Born May 16, 1933, in New York City, Quinn was baptized at the Church of the Incarnation and attended Cathedral School before completing his undergraduate studies at St. Joseph’s Seminary, the archdiocesan seminary in Yonkers, from 1951 to 1955. He went on to earn a master’s degree at Iona College, concentrating in guidance and counseling, from 1965 to 1969. He was ordained a priest on May 30, 1959, by Cardinal Francis Spellman.

His most prominent assignment was as the pastor of the Church of St. Stanislaus Kostka in Pleasant Valley. Monsignor Quinn was active in anti-poverty initiatives.
