Remembering Jesus’ Death on the Cross Across the Archdiocese on Good Friday

The solemn holy day of Good Friday was commemorated throughout the archdiocese and its suffragan dioceses. Archbishop Hicks made his first visit to the Diocese of Brooklyn for the annual Way of the Cross procession over the Brooklyn Bridge. Afterward, in the mid-afternoon, Archbishop Hicks led the solemn liturgy at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, joined by homilist and National Director for the Pontifical Mission Societies USA, Monsignor Roger Landry.
