A special anniversary Mass at St. Agnes Church in Midtown Manhattan honored Venerable Fulton J. Sheen, one of the most influential Catholic voices in American history. Family, clergy, and the faithful reflected on his holiness, his missionary leadership, and the growing hope for his cause for sainthood.
Monsignor Luke Sweeney, S.T.L., is the dean of seminarians and professor of Catholic social teaching at St. Joseph's Seminary. We spoke with him about the next generation of priests, the upcoming comprehensive exams at the seminary, and how we can respect God's creation.
