The Good Newsroom spoke with Archdiocese of New York Auxiliary Bishop Gerardo Colacicco to discuss using this time of Lent to train our dedication to our faith, comparing this time to the Winter Olympics and the dedication necessary to make it to the medal podium.
Sr. Mary Margaret Miller, a former registered nurse, entered the Dominican Sisters in 1993 and spent her religious life caring for the sick as director of nurses at Sacred Heart Home in Philadelphia and St. Rose’s Home in Manhattan, returning to Rosary Hill Home in 2018.

Over 58 years of service, Sr. Julia taught elementary and high school students, led religious education and adult faith formation programs in Illinois parishes, and did teaching and pastoral work in Staten Island and Connecticut, and social work in Appalachia.
