St. Patrick’s Cathedral Honors 24th Anniversary of 9/11 with Mass of Remembrance

St. Patrick’s Cathedral marked the 24th anniversary of September 11 with a solemn Mass of Remembrance led by Monsignor Jospeh P. LaMorte, Vicar General of the Archdiocese of New York. Joined by FDNY members, the faithful prayed for the nearly 3,000 lives lost, for grieving families, and for the courage to meet hatred with love and forgiveness.

On Wednesday, March 4, Cardinal Timothy Dolan was officially installed as co-chief chaplain of the New York Police Department (NYPD), serving alongside Reverend A. R. Bernard of Brooklyn’s Christian Cultural Center.
