St. Patrick’s Cathedral Releases Documentary Following Historic Mural Installation

The artist of the mural, Adam Cvijanovic, and the director of the documentary/senior director for Spirit Juice Studios, Christopher Weingart, spoke with The Good Newsroom about the process of documenting the creation of “What’s So Funny ‘Bout Peace, Love, and Understanding.” The documentary crew was with Adam for around six months ahead of the installation and were able to build a strong rapport and working relationship together as the piece was made.

This massive undertaking had the makings of a Renaissance-era studio. Cvijanovic had many collaborators to bring this mural together. He spoke similarly about his work with gilders and models compared to having the documentary crew there after a certain point in creating the mural.
