I join with the bishops, priests, faithful, and all people of good will of the Archdiocese of New York in praying for our Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV, as he prepares for his surgery later this week.
As I complete my week-long pilgrimage along the Camino de Santiago, Pope Leo will have an even greater remembrance in my prayers, asking Jesus, the Divine Physician, to watch over him and guide the hands of his surgeons, nurses, and other caregivers.
Sincerely Yours in Christ,
† Most Reverend Ronald Hicks
Archbishop of New York
La conmemoración de los fieles difuntos, la Santa Misa en sufragio de los cardenales y obispos fallecidos durante el año y la solemnidad de la Inmaculada Concepción figuran entre los principales compromisos.
