Yesterday, a tragedy struck our neighborhood, just two blocks away from Saint Patrick’s Cathedral. We are heartbroken by the loss of life. The victims, those who were injured, and their families are in our prayers. We should never get used to violence or lose our respect for the sacredness of every human life. When this violence happens on our streets, it is especially heinous. Our love and concern go especially to the families of those killed and to our beloved NYPD community.
