The Good Newsroom spoke with clergy and members of the Archdiocese of New York to send thanks to our outgoing archbishop after 17 years, Cardinal Timothy Dolan.
On this occasion, a Fourth Configuration Seminarian from St. Joseph’s Seminary, Deacon Joseph Haas joins us to show his appreciation and also share his welcoming message to Archbishop-designate Ronald Hicks, the archbishop he will be ordained a priest under.
“Hoy celebramos nuestra parroquia y la realidad de que somos hijos e hijas de Nuestra Señora de Mercedes”, dijo el obispo.

"Jesus said a city built on a hilltop cannot be hidden... Sacred Heart Parish and Sacred Heart Schools are built on a hilltop, and Jesus would be happy because we can't hide," Cardinal Dolan said.
