The Dominican Sisters Reflect on the Inspiration and Success of ‘Dominican Sisters Open Mic’

The Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist, created the popular Michigan-based podcast Dominican Sisters Open Mic. The sisters behind the podcast spoke to The Good Newsroom about what inspired them to create it and how it has grown. Hosted by Sister Miriam, the podcast features honest and joyful conversations about religious life, faith, and the sisters’ everyday experiences. During the interview, Sisters John Dominic, Miriam and Mercedes (who was born in New York) shared how they came up with the idea for the podcast, the wide range of topics they cover and how their audience has responded to the series. They also discussed their future goals for the podcast, including expanding their audience and taking it on tour.
