The Sheen Center Hosts ‘Light of the World’ Film Screening, More Family Events To Follow

On Saturday, August 23, The Sheen Center for Thought and Culture hosted an advanced screening of the animated film ‘Light of the World,’ which tells the powerful story of Jesus through the eyes of his youngest apostle, John. The screening was well attended by families and individuals from the greater New York City area.

The Sheen Center for Thought & Culture is located on Bleeker Street in Lower Manhattan and is known as the venue where art and spirituality meet. The center features a 273-seat neoclassical proscenium theater and, since its opening in 2015, the Sheen Center has hosted several movie premieres and performances. ‘Light of the World’ will be released for general audiences in theaters September 5, 2025.
