In the May 5 episode of his Sirius XM podcast, All Good Things with Archbishop HicksArchbishop Ronald A. Hicks and Father Dave Dwyer talk about the archbishop’s May 4 visit to the Seton Children’s Center in Yonkers

The Yonkers center is home to 169 residents who are medically limited. During his first pastoral visit to the center, Archbishop Hicks offered blessings to the residents, their families, and caregivers.

“I walked away with the biggest smile on my face, feeling renewed, a sense of joy, and I was inspired,” he said on the podcast. “This particular mission that cares for disabled people and adults and does so with compassion and love and dignity and it’s beautiful and there’s a sense of faith there and living out the faith. I always say faith looks like something and our charitable works look like something, and that’s St. Elizabeth Seton. It was faith into action and I was just very, very grateful for the entire visit.”

Archbishop Hicks and Father Dwyer also discussed London Marathon winner Sebastian Sawe’s devotion to his Catholic faith, and Pope Leo’s recent meeting with the first female Archbishop of Canterbury, Dame Sarah Mullally.

“He’s open to dialogue, and if he’s serious about that, he’s willing to listen. [It] doesn’t’ mean that he agrees with everything…” Archbishop Hicks said. “They prayed with each other.”

This conversation is part of this week’s episode of All Good Things with Archbishop Hicks on SiriusXM’s The Catholic Channel (129) and Catholic Faith Network.
