Did you notice in the Gospel this morning that when the women discover the empty tomb of Jesus they were fearful, yet overjoyed? They had mixed emotions, as we have this morning as we wake up to hear the somber news that our Holy Father, Pope Francis, has gone to the Lord. We are sad, but also filled with Easter joy. When we are lost, we must always rely on prayer.
