St. Jean Baptiste parish and school in Manhattan celebrated a historic milestone—the 125th anniversary of the collaboration between the Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament and the Congregation of Notre Dame.

Highlights included a beautiful Mass led by Bishop Whalen, reflections on a legacy of service that continues to shine, and a lively reception in the school gym.

Sr. Kathleen Gorman, OP, spent over four decades in ministry as a teacher, principal, family therapist, and counselor across New York and New Jersey, dedicating herself especially to unwed mothers and those struggling with addiction and mental health challenges before serving as her congregation's archivist.
