Executive Director of Saint John Vianney Residence Mary Lynch Retires, Theresa Cullen-Seidel Announced as Successor

Vicar General for the Archdiocese of New York, the Most Reverend Bishop Edmund Whalen, announced changes of leadership of the Institutional Commodities Service (ICS) and the Saint John Vianney Residence.

Theresa (“Terri”) Cullen-Seidel, who has served as executive director of ICS for 11 years, will replace Mary Lynch as executive director of operations for the Saint John Vianney Residence, Bishop Whalen announced on May 13.

“As a leader of ICS, Terri was an instrumental help in the success ICS experienced delivering the child nutrition program to all our schools,” wrote Bishop Whalen in an email announcement to archdiocesan staff. The vicar general also noted her role as executive director in “supplying both the parishes and Central Services with everything from buses to copiers to palm fronds for Palm Sunday.”

Mary Lynch retired earlier this year after 25 years of service as Executive Director of Saint John Vianney Residence, where she tirelessly served the retired priests of the Archdiocese of New York.

Michael Quinn will succeed Terri as executive director of ICS.
